LTSVP stands for Long Term Social Visit Pass and this is using inorder bring our parents for long stay in Malaysia for a maximum of 1 year. The duration may be less if the employment pass for the applicant is less than 1 year at the time of application. Can I get the Stage1 Visa via any Agency ?

You can get the stage 1 visa (or calling visa) via agency but that is just processing part. You must have the authorization letter from MDec (provided by the employer) to get the stage 1 visa from nearest Malaysian Consulate (Chennai, Delhi or Mumbai). Any travel agency can help on this if you submit your passport together with the approval letter, and yes they will charge you some amount depends on agency (4000 to 6000 INR)

How much amount agencies are charging for getting Stage 1 visa ?

Usually 4000 – 6000 INR depends on agency.

Which are the Malaysian Consulate Locations in India ?

Can I apply Malaysia Long Term Social Visit Pass for my in-laws (mother in law and father in law)

Yes, you can apply.

If I am applying Malaysia Long Term Social Visit Pass for my parents-in-law’s, who need to apply for relationship certificate ?

Your spouse (who is on Dependent Visa) need to apply for relationship certificate and he/she must be in Malaysia to do so.

My passport has mother’s name which is same as what is mentioned in my mothers passport, will this serve to prove the relation ship or i still need the relation ship certificate ?

You still need to get a relationship certificate which is a mandatory document to be submitted for Malaysia Long Term Social Visit Pass

What is the total cost for Malaysia Long Term Social Visit Pass (if applied directly i.e., without agents)?

We are not sure, you can get Malaysia Long Term Social Visit Pass by yourself or by agency. You may check with HR on the same.

Do I need my parent’s birth certificate or marriage certificates for applying long term social visit pass ?

No need by default. As we know, Birth certificate is for your child, marriage certificate is for your spouse and for parents it should be a relationship certificate. Hope you have parents name in your passport. But if HR/Visa processing agency is insisting for the same, please check with them.

How to Make the Personal Bond ?

Please find template to get the affidavit sample. You need to get the stamping from commissioner of oaths on this document. Once this is ready, can submit to BLS along with application for relationship certificate.

How to get Relationship Certificate if my parents name has a typo or different spelling on passport ?

Get an affidavit from the commissioner of oaths stating the names mentioned in respective passports are of same person. We would suggest you to get the affidavit first and then produce it to BLS, just mention that you got the affidavit for the change in names (spelling or typo).

Do I need to cancel LTSVP (for my parents or in-laws) while they leave Malaysia ?

You don’t need to cancel unless your parents has some plan to visit Malaysia in a different Visa.
